The museum showcases 70 tin-toy cars (called buriki) created by various Japanese designers in Japan after World War II. Japan Society through 8/16.

Culture: Summer Streets 2009

Your City. YOUR STREETS! Your Playground. NYC DOT presents Summer Streets taking place for three consecutive Saturdays in August (August 8, 15, 22) from 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. The route will connect the Brooklyn Bridge with Central Park and there will be recommended connections along low-traffic streets to the Hudson River Greenway, Harlem and Governors Island allowing participants to plan a route as long or short as they wish.

Berlin Cameron is looking for a social media intern (we’re calling it a Twitern) for a three month position at our New York office. It’s your chance to put your twitter and blogging skills to good use, learn about the interactive creative world and launch your career in Social Networking.

We’re looking for a student or recent graduate with exceptional writing and web skills to help develop content and personality for a variety of social networking platforms.

You will work closely with our interactive creative team to help build community, drive traffic for national brands and create relationships with consumers. This is a creative position and not just a typical “do our grunt work” type of internship.

Candidates must be able to bring an understanding of how and why social networking can be used, a strong sense of conveying personality online, and a passion for trying new things in the digital world.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced creative team of advertising professionals.
